it *is* really hard financially these days!! I'm still awake at 1:15am dwelling on finances; where money will come from and how fast it will be going out!! My daughter is lucky to have medical assistance to provide for her medical needs. I know for a fact that we would not be able to provide for her medical needs otherwise. Our health insurance from work hardly covers anything, let alone daily medications, blood work and whatever else might come up!!
I truly could not imagine how someone does it these days without medical assistance.
As for what we're cutting back on, gosh. If I could get my husband to cut back on starbucks coffee EVERY DAY, I could possibly be a millionaire!!
