I don't know if this hleps you out, but I just has the CVS done on Thursday, I had some cramping most of Thursday and by Friday I was back to normal.  For the CVS they Stuck the needle through my abdomen, and honestly it was a little painful, but completely worth it.  I also found out I am having a girl and in 10 days I will find out if she has CAH.  It took me and my husband sometime to decide if we wanted to do the CVS or the Amnio, just because the risks of miscarriage, we chose the CVS, because of the earlier results, and we also talked a lot with the doctors and the genetics counselor.  My only advice is that it is your descision and don't let anyone prsure you into something you are not sure of.
Sam
