re: re: Table Salt or Sodium Chloride
Jun. 30th, 2008   9:38pm
My 9 year old SWCAH daughter takes 0.05mg florinef each day.  We have never given her Sodium Chloride.  She has access to the salt grinder, however she does not crave salt, she rarely salts her food, and at times even complains that something is "too salty"!    You would be really surprised at how much salt is in the everyday foods that we eat, and so she is obviously getting enough and not requiring anything extra.   Her bloodwork is always fine.   You should be aware, however, that there are varying degrees of "salt wasting", with some SWCAH people being more severe than others.
