My daughter is 9 months old and has SWCAH. I nurse and supplement with formula. She gets her salt through a prescription for sodium chloride which is basically concentrated salt water. The endo started her at 1 ml five times per day after the first couple months of struggling to get table salt in (bottles, etc). Our endo measures her (I think sodium level) when we have blood draws and adjusts it accordingly. She went all the way down to 1 ml 2x day. When went to up it recently she said either 1 ml 3x day or keep at 2x day and just add some salt to her food as well.
I think you should check with your endo and ask them how much she needs based on her levels. If you want to try the sodium chloride they can give you a prescription - we mix 1/8 tsp. of sugar, 1 ml of sodium chloride, & 1 ml of breastmilk and she takes that well. If you want to try table salt, I've heard of people having a salt shaker for their child and just filling it at the beginning of each day with the amount they need.
