I know this has nothing to do with CAh, but my youngest son who is 4 has Fragile X Syndrome and Seizures I have talked about him alot on here as well as my oldest who has SWCAH. Well, I had to take my youngest to the neurologist on Wednessday due to his seizure and his medicine that he is on. Well, he is on Trylepital dont know if I spelled that right. Well she said that it can cause Liver damage and other things just like anyother medicine now adays. She wants him to have an MRI because he is young and even though he has speical needs they always check someone without special needs to make sure there is no brain tumor. which she said he might not have but we have to make sure. Then he has to have blood work done for his medicine, EEG done, And a Sleep Deprived Test where they stick things on his head and his ears and we are there for 1hr and 30 minutes. Then she yelled at me because she thought that I knew that I was a carrier of Frgaile X which I did not but obviously know now. And she was about to say so why did you have children knowing that you are a carrier of Fragile X? Instead she said well if you knew that you were a carrier who you still have had children? I said yeah probably. And she just kinda looked at me. Then she said well you know that he wont beable to have children because they have low sperm count and i just kinda went ahh And she goes well that is a good thing!! I know but telling a mother that about her youngest son and thinking that he is only 4 kinda mad me mad. Which I know I have thought about the worst because i am bad about that but I would like some positive too!! Thank you for letting me vent!! You guys are so awesome!!!
