Very interesting question! My daughter was diagnosed as a salt wasting late on-set and was treated as such for 11yrs. She did not crave salt much but has always had a difficult time in the heat. Later we found out that there has never been a salt wasting LOCAH and had genetic testing. She has one simple viril. gene and one LOCAH gene. I think it all depends on exactly what defective genes you have and then how each individual expresses those defective genes.
