Not everyone gets stretch marks with Dex. I haven't.... I've been on it for 30 years. My weight has increased with the amount of Dex I have taken... but I think genetics plays a part as well. I am 5'2 and weight about 128 currently. I have been as much as 137 - and as low as 110. Yes - the lowest was just before a crisis and I hadn't been taking my meds regularly...I tend to get anorexic when I'm not taking enough... the highest was when I was on 1.0 of Dex for a while.

Currently I am taking about .475 daily. I do go to the gym 3 times a week and work out for about an hour with weights. I feel good. Just had my 49th birthday on Weds. too. My daughter says I look younger than all of her friends' mothers.

Dex doesn't work for everyone though.... I tried prednisone several times and both times my joints ached and I wanted to cry all the time... I felt really depressed and suicidal as well. Dex works for me....nothing is perfect though... I would love to be on something that mimics my circadian rhythm (can't tell if I spelled that right or not... one lovely thing for me with CAH - it's time for me to take my Dex this morning... and when my cortisol is low I can't spell - and I have a hard time even telling if I spelled something right... I hate that part - and my lousy short term memory... gosh I hate that!)  I can hardly wait till Cronocort comes out!!!!
