Upcoming knee surgery for 15 yo grandson Jul. 30th, 2008 6:56pm
Our 15 year old SW grandson will be undergoing surgery next week to repair his ACL in his left knee that he just injured playing in an All Star baseball game. He has never been through any surgery and we want to get information from anyone that has CAH or a family member with CAH and find out what extra meds should be given prior to the surgery. His endo will of course discuss this with his ortho surgeon, but for our piece of mind what should be do in the way of preparing him for the surgery. (stress doses of meds? he's on prednisone and flornef once a day now)
