The Coffee Shop name, Cafe, or Lounge were ideas to make it fun as well and welcoming because sometimes using the term Adult Support Group can be boring and a downer.
It can be a place to compare notes or deeper. Or even chat about things not CAH in a light of hand manner but we connect becuase we all have CAH.
People chat over coffee or tea.
Some of us are on laptops at coffee shops and that is one of the reasons I thought of that.
It can be a place to get angry and vent ...a place to cool off without parent posters making it about them and waht they may or may not did with there own kid.
It can be a place to have light hearted banter.
It would be great to have it be a place where it was anything and everything from cars to what to do when faced with telling a future love interest about CAH and surgeries that were performed on oneself by well meaning people.
I was told by another poster that what I wrote on the main board what cluttering it up"
there weren't " battles "over the surgery but just desperate people with CAH that tried to care and offer their story.
