I'm with both of you.....what happened? and when I sent it around to my family, I added my own disclaimer that the article is oddly-written (focusing on the clogging/soft shoe controversy first?), and a bit lacking in detail. Being a local story and not a medical journal, I can understand not needing everything. I just found the angle of the story kind of awkward.
In any case, at least it was mentioned and know I now about it and can keep them in my heart and prayers forever....and such a beautiful picture!
As I told Christina (my 14-yo CAH), "you know how you can tell us when you need more pills?...babies can't". So sad. HOWEVER, the amazing effort for the beautiful 6-yr-old who went on to perform...and has CAH herself! Geez! The resiliency (sp?) in our CAHers...and kids in general...inspires me. And they have another CAHer? (article kind of glossed over that, as well....)
