I know nothing about the 3 month shot, but my 11 yo uses 15 mg each month. Do you use topical anesthetic with the lupron? my son uses emla or lmx cream (available otc) for an hour under saran wrap, and takes a motrin before the shot at night and another motrin in the morning. He plays game boy while we give him the shot to distract him. He is still a bit sore the next 24 hours, but he seems ok with it. We really wanted to try gh, but he is growing (sort of slowly) on the current regime, so our endo advised watchful waiting. I worry about missing a window of opportunity but realize it's a complicated decision. Hope that helps! All the best!
