Hydrocortisone is by far the better choice for children as it is synthetic cortisol, it is not as strong as Prednisolone, therefore you get better growth using hydrocortisone (at the right dose of course) and less problems with weight gain.
In the UK they do not use prednisolone for children for these reasons, so try to get hydrocortisone.
