new born screening
Aug. 27th, 2008   10:10am
I was reading the post below about amnio and I saw that the newborn screening is not always accurate.  What should I tell the hospital to check for in the first 24 hours that would give the most accurate diagnosis?  So far I've asked them for bloodwork to check 17 ohp levels.  I know I am having a girl, so if there is no ambiguous genitalia, I thought a girl could still have cah.
