It is usually children with non-salt losing CAH who don't do so well heightwise as they are generally diagnosed late, already with an advanced bone age.  Having said that though, it is encouraging to hear Rick reached a very good height - he was obviously monitored and treated well from diagnosis.

My own son has SWCAH, so was treated on steroids since shortly after birth.  Despite being on very high doses for the first few years, when his growth was appalling, he still managed to reach a final height of 5ft 9" (the same height as his father).  I am 5ft 4", so he did incredibly well too!
