What is this growth hormone shot everybody is talking about? I'm a 22 yr old female with CAH & i never heard of this & obviously never had one done on me. What is its purpose in patients with CAH? Is it just used to make them taller or are there other purposes.
I can see giving it to a boy with CAH b/c a boy being adnormally short can be troubling. But theres nothing wrong with a girl being under 5'0, 5'1 5'2, or 5'3. I'm 5'2 & i know alot of girls shorter than me & they dont have CAH.
