Thank you for your replies. I spoke to her endo again today and learned that her 17 OHP (blood drawn in the a.m.) was around 10,000. Up until this blood test, it was well within the range that would be normal for someone who is being properly treated.
Her renin was 84, (with a sodium read of 128 and a potassium result of 5.0).
Because the renin results were consistent with what he would expected for that low sodium, he did not believe that there was an error in the test.
As for her having "health problems," she has been extremely healthy since birth. Obviously, these results give me pause when interpreting her as extremely healthy, but I want to be optimistic when it's warranted.
