re: re: NIH visit jepordized by ex...please help Sep. 12th, 2008 4:01pm
Have you considered taking your noncah child with you to NIH? Sounds like your EX may calm down if he is not having to take care of a child while you are away. We went to NIH and I noticed that several other families had children with them not participating in the study. I was told that we were welcome to bring along other family. Most of the rooms have 2 double beds so there would be room enough and other kids are welcome at the clinic as well. There are lots of games and things to keep them busy in the waiting room. It was a valuable experience and we found out that my child was oversuppressed and her type of hydrocortosine and dose was changed by the expert Drs at NIH. The team at NIH has a lot of experience and expertise in CAH, it will benefit your children to be seen. Good luck.
