Tell him that they aren't guinea pigs, they are just going to get the most thorough medical workup available for LOCAH folks. We took our 3 kids and NIH discovered they did not need to be on meds right now, took one of my children off Growth hormone injections and found out that I had LOCAH. They work on cutting edge medicine and are the best minds around to treat this disorder. The kids will love this experience because the Children's Inn is cool with fun stuff to do and you may have time to take the train to D.C. to see a few sights/museums/Nat'l monuments. Your ex is probably scared and doesn't understand everything about LOCAH and what NIH can do for his children. Best of luck to you and your family.
