re: re: NIH visit jepordized by ex...please help
Sep. 13th, 2008   8:12am

I got a call from NIH Friday at 4pm. Because he had called the patient advocate, he now has to sign consent forms (which were faxed to me). But he also has to consent over the phone, and Dr. Mercke was already gone for the day. So there is no way we will be going to our scheduled appointment. NIH assured me the cancel is not a problem. My ex called me around 8pm to say he changed his mind, and I can take the kids. But by then it was too late, and now we will have to reschedule. Now I have to ask teachers to put together 3 days of work for two of my kids when indeed we do go again. I also have to schedule 3 days off from work. The whole thing is just sad.

My 12 year old spoke to my ex about it. He understands what was going to happen, and convinvced my ex he was ok with it.

I know my ex's opinion counts, which is why I caved right away. But it isn't like I didn't explain to him the benefits in the past. GGRR

Thank you for all your advice.

stephanie
