I have faith knowing that nothing happens without a reason. So, from my point of view there must be a reason (unknown to you/us) that you shouldn't have gone this time. Maybe your ex's fear was used to protect you and the kids from something. I don't know, I just trust God. I do know that it sure is a pain to make all the arrangements, cancel them and make new arrangements. Life can sure be a hassle when things don't go the way we want them to. Do something fun this weekend and enjoy your kids where ever you are!
