re: re: Triple dosing and connection to nightmares/night terrors/sleep disturbance
Sep. 14th, 2008   7:05am

I too agree that stess dosing can disturb sleep. I can remember stess dosing my daughter as an infant, and her being awake until LATE! My thinking was, when they are sick they should sleep more. But I never found that with my daughter when she was sick. She would be hyper, snappy, and moody. Her heart raced too. But as far as the night terrors and nightmare go I would have to say this is a normal thing associated with being so sick. I ALWAYS had horrific nightmares as a child when I was very sick. I can describe this one in particular to this day that I had when I had the flu as a child. The most scariest dream EVER. CAH is such a "gray area". You never know what is a normal kid symptom over a CAH symptom. In this case, in my opinion, the nightmares are attached with just plain being really sick.

I hope he is feeling better soon!

Laura
