re: re: re: Question for those doing Circadian Rhythm dosing schedule... Sep. 19th, 2008 10:03am
Thank you, Ladies. I always knew our Endo followed some sort of guidelines, but it's only now that I found out that it's for a 'normal' person, not the adjusted ones. We will be seeing her next Thursday and really having a discussion on this. Luckily we have a wonderful endo who has been open to any suggestions I have, and hopefully this will follow the case. My understanding is that I keep on top of this more than many of her other patients. If it was up to my husband, we wouldn't even be looking at the numbers and just doing what the doctor says. But that's not in me to do. I do think she's more comfortable with the 'traditional' way because no studies have been done on the circadian rhythm to prove to her it's better. And I can understand, coming from a science background, the need for 'proof.' But I also trust what other parents are telling me and what's working for my son. Thanks again for the advice. I will let her know about changing the dosage throughout the day and see what she says.
