re: Second E.R.visit in past 5 days....

Two weeks is a long time to have vomiting and diarrhea .... have they done anything for him at the ER other than CAH related? (have they checked for other causes??) Has he had a good "going over" to see if there's some other cause of the vomiting/diarrhea? How does he seem otherwise? I assume you've got him doubled or tripled and that you've consulted your endo on how to deal with this long bout of whatever-it-is .... how does he seem? If he's lethargic, seems to be going "downhill" or you just feel that something is NOT right, I'd be very insistent that they look to see what is causing all of this. Make sure he's getting a lot of fluids, especially electrolyte replacements (Pedialyte is best, or some such, although my kids hated it unless I mixed it with a bit of fruit juice).

My daughter has had stomach/intestinal bugs several times in her life (a couple times ended us in hospital - once for a week), but not since she was about your son's age (she's 11 now). I'll keep him in my prayers. Please let us know how he's doing!

Wendy-Lee
