anyone take lupron every 3 weeks?

My almost 12 yo son takes 15 mg shot of lupron every 4 weeks. How would I know if he needs it every 3 weeks. Lately, he seems to get a migraine 2 days or so after the shot, so I wonder if he's not having steady levels on every 4 week dosing. Anyone have experience with this or going from 4 week to 3 week schedule?
