Return to Page 31Post reply Possible CAH Diagnosis? Jun. 26th, 2009 10:43pm
My 6 week old daughter was born with really low muscle tone and the ambiguous genitalia and really poor feeding ability she spent 3 weeks in the NICU before they discharged her with no diagnosis because she was stable. She is 6 weeks old tomorrow and today I got a letter from the AZ department of Health saying that they think she might have CAH because her heel stick came back abnormal but her neonatologists in the NICU said it was only a little higher then normal. I guess Im just looking for people who have been through the diagnosis process they have done genetics tests neuro tests and of course endo tests we meet our endo on the 9th but Im trying to find any info I can Like how were your pregnancys etc I believe its probably what she has but I guess thats it.
