re: one more thing on height.....

My daughter is done growing at 5ft. and maybe one quarter. She is a girl, that is unhappy about her height. She will be 13 this summer. I told her it didn't matter if she was short or not. After all I myself am short and have had no problems in life. Her reply was, "But mom. It MATTERS TO ME." It matters to me. Your son will be my daughter's age one day. It may seem small to you today, but trust me. Trust me. It WILL matter to him one day. Looking in her eyes was hard when she said that. If I could have controlled it in any way I would have. You have that control for your son. I know it is scary, but use it.
